anea-blacktop-angle-small- REALGIRLThis on the podcast Anea Bogue, author, speaker and founder of REALGirl. As most of you know I was first introduced to REALGirl and Anea through friend of the podcast Val Cheney (you can listen to my convo with her here) and I knew immediately this was an organization I wanted to be a part of and support because it provides everything I wish I would have had as a young girl and taught myself in my early 20s.  From teaching girls about feminism, their bodies including their periods to how to navigate relationships, REALGirl equipts girls with the tools to navigate our lives as women. In July I attended the REALGirl training and got to spend three incredible days with other women of all ages at Anea’s house where we learned about her version and goals for her organization. In today’s conversation you’ll hear first hang how amazing Anea really is.  She’s empowering women of all ages, and is passionate about giving girls the support, community and education they need at a young age to stay confident and embodied in their femininity. I really hope you enjoy today’s conversation and if you haven’t already I strongly encourage you to check out REALGirl as well as Anea’s podcast, book, supernatural feminine hygiene product line, and other work she is involved in.

-Listen to Anea’s  Podcast, Rad Parenting — good for parents or just anyone (as a non-parent listener I can recommend it!). My favorite is the episode with Ben Lee.
