My HONEST Review of Gabby Bernstein’s Spirit Junkie Masterclass

Can you spot me in that crowd? I’m there in the front row, seat 111. Seriously. I will never forget that moment of Gabby coming out onto the stage and locking in at me as she begins telling the story of how she began in vivid detail I’d never heard before. More than any other time in my life I felt so certain I was meant to be somewhere…in that room, in that seat, surrounded by those people, at that time. It was epic and changed my life and the course of my career.

I had been asking my mentor Gabby to teach me how to do what she does in my own way for years. I heard she once asked Marianne Williamson how she could share spirituality 924580_1470695189864313_658335621_nwith her generation, so I asked Gabby that same question on her radio show when I was 21 years old and soon realized I wasn’t the only one asking her that (luckily because WE’RE ALL NEEDED!). Her answer for me & everyone of what to do if you have a message to share and an urge to teach?
Spirit Junkie Masterclass.

I went to her very first three day weekend extravaganza filled with guest speakers (yep that’s crazy sexy Kris Carr), networking, speaking training, business training, extensive live q & a, workbooks, and all the support a girl could ask for with a side of dancing & fun was an experience I will never forget.

I’m not only grateful for the experience but I’m honestly kind of in awe of it. Hearing Gabby be so real with us, trusting us to open up about the inner workings of how she runs her spiritual business was really amazing. She opened up completely, answered every question, regardless of how personal or deep. She brought her best fri10666040_695282437228036_796817099_nends, coaches, and colleagues in to teach their areas of expertise too.

Anyway, clearly I just had a big ball but to be completely honest with you the experience 3 years ago left me wanting more.  I felt like I needed more time with the material, I needed more experts talking about their business experience not only the guests she had that time. I needed more practical advice like insurance, negotiations, and contracts to really be able create the platform and career I wanted. That’s when Gabby listened to that call and created the amazing Spirit Junkie Masterclass Digital version which has all the content, guest speakers, practical advice plus quality videos of everything I was there for the first time including that opening talk I was in seat 111 for plus tons of updated content.

Her mission of not creating disciples but rather teachers is such a beautiful mission and will truly change the world way more than she could alone (although she’s an epic powerhouse duh). I considered myself her biggest disciple but now I have become her biggest teacher and that’s was Spirit Junkie Masterclass allowed me to do.

Since then, I have built a coaching practice, built my podcast to more subscribers than I ever thought possible, and published my first book with Hay House which Gabby wrote the forward. I tell you this not to boast, but to inspire you with what’s possible when you listen to a call to teach and SHOW UP, digitally for SJMC and simply for yourself an10693336_646892608762990_728514224_nd your life purpose.

I highly suggest you check it out if you’ve been hearing the call to share, lead, or teach in your unique way. Your way may not be a blog, podcast, or youtube channel although it might be and I can’t wait to listen, watch, and link to it, but also it might be bringing these messages into the office or to your kindergarden classroom or to your family. Wherever you feel called to share the message just share it because

WE NEED YOU. THE MORE LIGHT YOU SHARE THE LIGHTER THE WORLD BECOMES.

I clearly had a blast and I thought I’d show you how much Gabby’s Spirit Junkie Masterclass Digital meant to me.  I wanted to be able to return to the content again. Gabby has created this comprehensive program that teaches all of that and provides concrete resources to help you launch whatever it is you want to share with the world.

She’s offering FREE 3-part video series check them out: Video 1, Video 2,& Video 3 where she dishes out wisdom that is 100% FREE. Then if you want to check out SJMC digital I highly recommend it of course to anyone that has the slightest desire to share, lead, or teach in your own unique way.

REGISTRATION IS ONLY OPEN FOR ONE WEEK so if you even have the slightest interest I highly recommend checking it out. And if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me directly, I’m happy to respond to anyone who is thinking about taking the course.

There Is A Way Through Every Block

1545762_499225636849858_40462029_n

Monday Meanderings  have been a mainstay in Wonderland since I started the blog. A day where instead of sharing a new post from me, I share what has been inspiring me from around the web & a few insta-glimpses into my weekend. However, last week was special and I shared a little story and lesson that truly touched me & this week I thought I’d do the same, hope that’s cool with you.

I teach yoga every Sunday morning  to an amazing crew of peeps that teach me way more than I teach them (you should totally join them if you’re local!).  I’ve been teaching a new one of Yogi Bhajan’s 5 Sutras for the Auqarian age each week expanding on one of them in a little lecture at the beginning of class. They are beautiful, concise, and so powerful.

Here they all are, The Five Sutras of the Aquarian Age:

1. Recognize that the other person is you.
2. There is a way through every block.
3. When the time is on you, start, and the pressure will be off.
4.  Understand through compassion or you will misunderstand the times.
5. Vibrate the cosmos, and the cosmos shall clear the path.

If you’re willing, they can transform your life when you put them into practice.

Today’s class I focused on the second one.

THERE IS A WAY THROUGH EVERY BLOCK. –>tweet it!

Damn, good right? doesn’t it feel better just to read?

I preached that there is a lesson in every situation no matter how bad it seems & that the world is your classroom & people are your teachers. Even in a seemingly terrible situation you can always find the good. I offered the below affirmation that is a mainstay in my life. Say it whenever you’re in those moments of unease, stress, or fear. It does two things: calms you down immediately & gives the Universe time to step in and give you everything you need. & trust me is always does….(proof below keep reading)…

Here’s the affirmation:

type-louisehay

Nice one right? It always works I swear and when you use it, the Universe will give you everything you need.

Case in point: Today driving to my yoga class I woke up with terrible shoulder tension and thought ‘ouch, dang I could really use a massage.’ As I walked out of teaching class a massage therapist walked up to me and said, “would you like a free massage?” I’m not lying! Do you have chills on how perfect that was? I do. It’s just a perfect example of when you are calm and certain of the outcome the Universe will give you everything you need…in my case a massage. It didn’t stop there, for the rest of the day the lights were green, the front parking spot opened up at the grocery store, and I felt completely supported. See how long you can stay in this flow.

Here’s the thing, we teach what we need to learn. I had fogotten this and remembered it after I taught it to others that day. Look what my man YB says about this:

url

Inevitably we will fall out. We will get out of sync. We will forget the affirmation. We will go into total freak out mode, but when this happens know it is fine. In fact, it’s natural and life’s not about staying in the flow, rather shortening the time it takes you to get back into it.

So how do you get back into it?

Well, there’s lots of ways. You can meditate, go to yoga, or wait for the guidance to come. All great options, but do you want one that is the end-all-be-all for getting back into feeling in the flow? HELP SOMEONE. I know what you’re thinking, if I’m the one in a funk why would I help someone else? Because that’s how we’re wired as humans to help and support each other, that’s what arouses us. This is the best way to get you out of your head & get you back into your flow. Try it. Namaste.

The Art of Surrendering | Scary Word, Simple Concept

Monday Meanderings | The Wellness Wonderland-1

I learned something really profound recently from my mentor Gabrielle Bernstien. It is the art of surrendering. Until recently I had no idea what that meant and that word actually scared me to be honest. Gabby teaches surrendering to mean letting go of trying to control a situation out of your control, and rather, saying ‘look I trust the Universe here and that everything happens for a reason please help the best outcome play out here.’ Surrendering really is just asking for help in any given situation and getting out of the way for the Universe to do her thing.

I love this line from Mastin Kipp‘s remix of Yogi Bhajan’s Patience Pays (which I listen to a few times a day and have been playing for all my yoga classes.) “Surrender doesn’t mean giving up, it means giving in.”

Speaking of Yogi Bhajan, the father of Kundalini Yoga, Gabby’s journey to discovering Kundalini is what helped me to understand how to surrender. A couple years ago, Gabby found herself in a bit of a rut in her practice. Having been a meditator for years she needed a more visceral experience. She surrendered her practice to the Universe and was led to Kundalini, which changed her life. Pre-Kundalini Gabby hated yoga but was led to it randomly, fell in love with it, and even became a teacher of it. Now she wears cool turbans and teaches crazy Kundalini meditation to millions on Instagram & YouTube, all because she surrendered something that wasn’t working in her life

So I recently did just that – I surrendered something & boy does it work. There’s something to this whole surrender thing.

So here’s what I first surrendered, to test it out to see if it actually worked and guess what? It did, massively! When you let go, stop pushing and just relax into it the Universe will show up in a big way to support you.

I was not loving my morning routine at all, struggling with finding something that worked for me so I surrendered my morning routine to the Universe and this is what happened…

I fell in love with my mornings and now you can too, here’s how. I’ll be back with part two of this post with a post on the importance of morning routines & 10 tips to start the day off right.

See you then!
