Katie Dalebout is a New York-based writer and podcaster. She is the founder of LET IT OUT, a website, podcast, and community for sharing what she calls *soft stories*. These are the stories that reveal our most tender selves, and connect us when shared.
Her and her guests let out these stories in her long running weekly interview podcast, which began in 2013. The show has nearly 300 episodes and 3 million total downloads and led to a digital workshop teaching others to let out their own *soft stories* through starting podcasts.
In 2016, she published her first book an interactive guide to journaling called LET IT OUT with Hay House. Her writing has been published in Refinery 29, Hello Giggles, Mind Body Green and she writes a monthly column for The Fullest magazine.
She leads live workshops, and hosts both on-camera and in-person events. Katie has spoken at Wanderlust, Soho House, The Wing, and The Good Fest about independent podcasting, body image, and creative writing. Clearly she’s a multi-hyphenate, so she now offers consulting sessions on everything from cultivating a creative practice to podcasting to expressive writing.
